  13. This is a serious story, but it always gets a laugh when it is retold,
  14. no matter how many times we have heard it.  
  15.  
  16. When I was about nine, my sister (who is 6 years older than I am) made
  17. fortune cookies for some special occasion, like a birthday or something.
  18. When she brought them in for dessert, she passed them around, letting
  19. everyone take one, but specified that I get a certain one.  I, of course,
  20. had no idea whatsoever that she had made these cookies, and so I didn't
  21. think anything of it.  So, we all opened them, and read our fortunes.  I
  22. read mine, which said "You are a gorilla."  I nearly freaked out, because
  23. I thought these were like the ones that you get at a chinese restaurant.
  24. Everyone else's was normal.  It's really funny to look back at now, and
  25. whenever there's a family dinner in the dining room, and everyone's home,
  26. we tell and retell some of the most embarrasing stories.  It's still one
  27. of my favorites.  8)
