- Are there still active White Towers anywhere? I had read nearly a decade ago
- that only three were left - all in Baltimore - and that one was actually a
- fast-food museum (!) of sorts. (The last White Tower I saw in person was in
- Schenectady, NY, circa 1974.)

- Also, does anyone remember Carroll's hamburgers? The chain was popular in
- the Northeast (before McDonalds had expanded into the region), but disappeared
- around 1970 or so; I'm told that the parent company is now one of the largest
- Burger King franchisees.
