- My optometrist was Dr. Feher (pronounced "Fear").
- I just got back from Singapore, where I got some copies made at ol' "Gay Man
- Hair"...there is apparently no standard in spelling, the term "tidbits", get
- misspelt in large signs as "tipbits", "tippits", and "tibdits". And this is
- from a country whose main language is English.
- I had a Chinese friend whose surname was "Yu". There was a little bit of humor
- in referring to his grey-haired mother as "Yu Mama".

- I think most people in the Far East have seen the popular toothpaste "Darkie",
- with a picture on the front of the tube that was meant to be Al Jolson in black
- face, but you couldn't tell it's supposed to be Al. It has since been renamed
- "Dakkie" and the face is "white", (the color, not the race), with a top hat.
