- I've had a 'corn plant', Dracaena fragrans, near a north window for 4 years,
- it's doing FINE, so fine that it's about to hit the ceiling. The Ficus lyrata
- (fiddle-leaf fig) right next to it is also happy. My Diffenbachia is maybe
- 10' from a big, south facing window. So, it gets some bright light (white
- living room walls probably help) but it never gets direct sun. Ferns,
- philodendrons, Scindapsus (pothos), and Monstera are other possibilities.
- Overwatering and over-fertilizing low-light plants will contribute to weak
- growth, IMO, so I keep them a tad on the lean side.
