- Use at least two shop lites ( 4 bulbs total ). This comes out to
- 160 watts * 10 hours = 1.6kwh/day * 30 days = 48 kwh/month. In my
- unfortunate situation, this is 12 cents/kwh or $5.76 per month.
-
- Add in the cost of the timer - suitable for fluorescent lights - is
- about $19, two shop lights at $10 each, and four or five dollars for
- bulbs. If you want bottom heat, you can add this for about $90 in
- equiptment and $7.80 in electricity per month.
-
- The equiptment cost is fixed, you can use all but the bulbs next year.
