- I had the misfortune of playing California Games 2 on my SNES last
- night. This cart was so bad, it doesn't even deserve a full review.
- (Or a mini-review for that matter!) New events include: hang gliding,
- body boarding, jet ski slalom, snow boarding, and a half-pipe skateboard
- thing.
-
- The graphics and control were absolutely horrible. With the exception
- of some poorly done Mode-7 effects in the jet ski, the game could have
- been done on an 8-bit system. Save your money and time. Rent it if you
- must, but I couldn't recommend purchasing this game even if it was $19
- or so!
-
- Thank goodness that my wife also brought home a copy of Pilotwings!
- At least I had fun w/ that first generation cart and my Game Genie!
