  12. Sorry if this is old news, but here's the Sonic 2 (not 1) level select:

  14. Go to the sound select. Go right to #19 and push C, use right to 65 and
  15. push C, use left to get to 9 and push C, use right to 17 and push C.
  16. Go to main screen (by pressing START) then when Sonic and Tails
  17. come up, hold A and press START.
