  13. I noticed the same thing about myself.  I'm 25, with no kids.
  14. I practically grew up playing video games, either in the arcade
  15. (from Space Invaders on, I've played everything!) or with my
  16. computers.  (Pet, Atari 8-bit, Atari 16-bit).

  18. By the time I got my Atari ST, I was in university, and I noticed
  19. I wasn't playing as many games as I wanted.  But I have all these
  20. games waiting for me to play.  When I graduated and started work,
  21. I moved to a smaller city (Ottawa), and I thought, "There's nothing
  22. to do in Ottawa, so I'll spend all my time playing games.  I should
  23. catch up on my RPGs by next year."

  25. That was 3 years ago.  I have only completed ONE of about 10 games I've
  26. lined up for myself.  The other spare time went to studying things,
  27. COOKING, and vegging in front of the TV.  Sometimes I don't even want
  28. to start a game because I know I can't afford to spend an hour a day
  29. playing it.

  31. Which is why I now have an SNES with SF2, FF2 and Zelda.  Relatively
  32. mindless, can save almost anywhere (not SF2, of course).

  34. About strategy games, I've also became less patient with them.  I
  35. distinctingly remember being like a little kid and trying everything,
  36. and now I've became more afraid because "I'll have to start over
  37. again!"
