  17.     The SpeedStar24X uses a Westen Digital chip, not S3.  the 24X is
  18. minutely faster than a Tseng 4000 card in DOS, and has gotten better
  19. winmark ratings than S3 based cards in the same machine...  (this is
  20. highly based upon Drivers though...)  the 24X is also much cheaper than
  21. most S3 cards.  i.e. why buy S3?
