- I agree with Steve's opinion. Beating an opponent by resignation does not
- mean that you beat your opponent more badly than by 1 point. Good players
- play only good enough to win because they know when they are
- in lead and how to keep it in a safe way. And when they are losing,
- they will use extraordinary procedures, which usually will lead to dramatic
- ending.

- Also no one want to see a rating algorithm that encourages dragging a lost game
- to the very end by not resigning. Don't we see enough of that already?
