- Maybe you couldn't put it on your resume, but you could use it to go into
- business for yourself. The demolition and construction businesses come to mind.
-
- Ultima, Inc. Low cost paving. "We do all the work while you sit on the front
- lawn and wait for the fireworks to begin." Parking lots, our specialty.
-
- A game of old-timers was mentioned. How about a 1989 Washington Commemorative
- Game with all the old country names and as many of the old countries as possible?
- The newbie fill-ins can pick from such fine names as Abbarat, Green Machine,
- Gorgon (aka Crazy Gorgy), and Bob's Domain (if we could only dig up the REAL
- U.S. of Madison...). And we could take out some of the commands like dump so
- that no on could use big fancy tools since they weren't really around back then.
- (Good idea, by the way, Mark. Even though the nerds will eventually be able to
- get around it, it'll work in the short run.) And we can have four updates per
- day like the original game [WRONG!]. People could be assigned names according
- to their skill level and whether or not they are techie types. I think Rob would
- be perfect for Zenith (no offense to Zenith).
-
- Unfortunately, too many of us (myself included) are too strapped for time for
- such an endeavor. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to play for at LEAST a few
- months (if ever). A nice thought, though.
