  12. A player in game 'shuppan' wishes to resign, as he is feeling the strain of
  13. too many games. He is willing to continue until a replacement is found, but
  14. to avoid biasing negotiations until then, I won't reveal which player until
  15. a sub is found. 'shuppan' is an anonymous (gunboat) white press/no partial
  16. Youngstown game presently going into the Spring 1903 moves; I will say that
  17. the position is one of the stronger on the board. If you think you might be
  18. interested, get a listing of the game and contact me via e-mail, and I'll
  19. tell you which power is up for grabs.

  21. A player in game 'ix' recently had the misfortune to graduate and find a
  22. decent job (though not so decent as to provide net access :^), and was
  23. forced to resign as a result. 'ix' is an anonymous (gunboat) white press/no
  24. partial Loeb9 game presently going into the Winter 1901 builds. Norway, the
  25. available power, is entitled to one build, and has a fairly strong position,
  26. both tactically and diplomatically. If you're interested in a fairly crowded
  27. variant with nine players, just sign on to the game and pick up the position.
