- _Queen's Gambit_ by Walter Tevis. This is the same guy who wrote _The
- Hustler_. It's a really good book, about a woman who discovers chess
- while living in a orphanage, eventually going on to play for the world
- championship. Interesting characterization and accurate, sympathetic
- looks at chessplayers' lives. Good stuff. Two thumbs up.
