  10. I did the ski/gamble trip to South Lake Tahoe just before Xmas and 
  11. stayed at the new Embassy Suites, right next door to Harrah's.  They 
  12. are geared for the skier with a small Heavenly shop on premises and sell
  13. lift passes and rent equipment right there.  The shuttle also runs from there.
  14. The hotel is VERY nice and you get a free breakfast, and comp drinks in the 
  15. p.m.  It's quiter than most of the other hotels, but is still right next 
  16. door to the action.

  18. I've also stayed at Harrah's (my second choice), and at Harvey's (also nice)
  19. but I recommend Embassy.  Rates will run from about $89 to $120 and 
  20. lower if you can get in on either a gambling package or a skiing package.
  21. It's worth checking with a travel agent to see what they have, sometimes
  22. the packages are cheaper that what you can buy seperately even if you 
  23. don't use all the options like car rental.
