- A few years ago (I can't remember off hand how far back) there was an excellent
- article on absinthe in Scientific American magazine. Absinthe is made from
- a shrubby plant called, Atemisia absinthium, also know as wormwood, and turns
- milky when added to water (its regular colour is green).
