- The magazines i read are:
- PRACTICAL HORSEMAN- they cover interesting topics for both
- show riders as well as pleasure riders. My favorite
- sections are THE THINKING HORSEMAN and the training
- series with well-known trainers (although I don't always
- like or agree with what they say or do, it is fun to
- read about different training techniques). I read just
- about everything in the magazine
-
- THE CHRONICLE OF THE HORSE- a weekly magazine i always really
- look forward to getting. My favorite sections are the
- editorials and the artcles by Cooky McClung. It is a great
- source for advertisers and have successfully advertised my
- horses in it. I also love reading the horse show results.
- I don't always read the magazine from cover to cover
- because often there are articles and things that do not
- intereest me (ie, racing results, driving articles). It
- is also a hassle to read if you are running low on time.
- I often have a stack of them accumulate if I am extremely
- busy.
-
- Well, those are the magazines I read. As far as PRACTICAL
- HORSEMAN goes, I feel i get my $ worth. THE CHRONICLE
- OF THE HORSE is somewhat expensive and although it is a
- great magazine i am really thinking of not renewing.
