- Epidemiologists have argued that the midatlantic raccoon rabies
- epizootic originated upon interstate transfer of rabid raccoons,
- unintentionally of course, by hunting groups to populate hunting
- stocks. The source of the rabid raccoons has been argued to be the
- southeastern epizootic -- that is in Florida, Georgia...
