- There was a case in Upper Marlboro (I can't remember if it was this past
- year or the year before...I'd have to look it up in my local paper) of two
- horses killing a rabid racoon. The horses ended up fine. The owners did
- not realize that if they had a cut, etc, they were more likely to contract
- rabies and therefore had to undergo the whole nine yards (shots).
