- Hello everyone,
-
- I apologise in advance if you've seen this, or if another version comes out
- later, but I'm having major problems with our system.
-
- I am wondering what you do to stay warm in cold weather. I was riding in
- <10F a couple of weeks ago, and it was DANG cold. I'm looking for some
- good ideas (other than stay inside, I got bit by the horse bug and staying
- inside worsens the symptoms.)
-
- This year I got a pair of Miller's "Warmtoes" boots. They are lined with
- Thinsulate (what ever that is, It's good stuff) and have kept my feet warm
- all winter. I have the tall ones, they also come in a short lace up version.
- They are thicker than regular boots, and slide around a little bit on my
- leg, but warm toes are worth it to me. I ordered a pair of gloves with
- the same lining, but we got a heat wave and I haven't used them yet. I have
- no connection to Miller's, just wanted to share a good product.
-
- I ride english HJ, and just got the good (make that GRRREAT!) news that I
- can show one of my trainer's horses next summer. Of course, I think she's
- the best horse in the barn. If this gets posted I will add to the Bio thread.
-
- Anyway, happy riding/driving/grooming/etc.
