  13. My wife has a 7yr TB gielding, which she has owned since he was 4. He is
  14. a bay with black points. He does dressage, side-saddle, jumping, enjoys
  15. hacks and is now being broke to harness.
  16. She has been riding for about 6 yr , but had a bad accident (horse related)
  17. in the fall of 91, and is trying to get back to where she was then.

  19. I've been riding for 26 months, in dressage. I've tried some jumping
  20. but I don't find the forward seat comfortable. I've been in three shows
  21. and have got two seconds at the last one. I sold my first horse,Gypsy, a
  22. 14 yr Quarter/arab.

  24. My  next horse I had was a registered 10 yr TB geilding, who has done
  25. basic dressage, hunted and jumped. He was lame after about two months
  26. that we owned him. It turned out to be protozoel myeloencephalitis,
  27. which there is no test for. No matter how much tranquilizer he would
  28. be on, he would always be in pain.
  29. He was put down Dec. 13, 92 .

  31. Jan. 20, 92, we purchased Trooper. He's a clydesdale/throughbred, 16.1
  32. H.H., 3 yr old in March. Has been ground driven and green broke to
  33. saddle. We want to restart his training, so there will be no riding for
  34. at least a year, but will work on driving (with hopes of getting a
  35. cart), and lunging. I guess I have to get in shape so I can run with
  36. him. :(   :)
