  29. Actually, a Paint cannot be registered as a Quarter Horse, even though
  30. the Paint is essentially a Quarter Horse.  The AQHA only registers
  31. solid-colored horses.  White cannot extend up beyond a certain point on
  32. the legs, etc.  An offspring of two Quarter Horse parents that exhibits
  33. enough white can be registered as a Paint, but it cannot be registered
  34. as a Quarter Horse.
