  11. Hello to everyone from sunny Newfoundland.  I've been following the 
  12. discussion on wool types, knitting lace etc. and the combination of topics 
  13. plus the fact that one poster is from Iceland reminded me that I've got 
  14. several large skeins of *very* fine Icelandic homespun that have been 
  15. crying out to be knitted up for the past ten years!!!! I bought them when I 
  16. spent a summer in Iceland doing field research and fell in love with the 
  17. knitted lace scarves and shawls I saw for sale. However, I didn't get any 
  18. patterns, either then or since. Having just reorganized my wool into one of 
  19. those plastic zippered bags that an electric blanket came in, I was again 
  20. reminded that I really *should* knit that stuff up :-). I guess you'd call 
  21. it one-ply - it's in several shades of Icelandic-sheep-au-naturel. Any help 
  22. would be very welcome.
