- If you can get really excellent photos taken of it, you can send
- those to any of the quilt magazines and hope they will publish it.
- Your mother will also have to draw up complete diagrams and instructions.
- The magazines will pay between $50- $100 or so, depending on the number
- of photos, etc. They will usually ask you to assign all rights so you
- can't also publish the pattern and sell it yourself, tho.

- Contests--you need excellent slides to enter most contests. I don't know
- of any database of quilt contests, tho. I just find out about them by
- reading the quilt magazine calendars (like Quilters Newsletter).
