- Maggie Righetti's 'Crocheting In Plain English' gets my vote for one of the
- best all aroound crochet books. Simple explanations, good diagrams, guides
- you into working from symbols (the easiest way) and goes beyond the basics.
- (Her knitting book of the same generic name is a winner as well.)
- Not as comprehensive, but has good stitch guides and might get you started
- faster on a project is 'The Woman's Day Book of Granny Squares and Other Carry-
- Along Crochet'. This last one is a Fawcett Publication ca 1975 and maybe
- difficult to find. There are lots of others -- but these two stand out for me.
- And don't worry about your spatial relations ability.
