  13. Toy Robot FOR SALE:

  15. ZOBOR (The Transporter) of the Mighty Zeroids, made by Ideal in 1968;
  16. No. 4772-0.

  18. -robot itself is near mint++, everything still works (motor, throwing arm)
  19.     robot is primarily copper colored (plastic)
  20. -in original plastic display case, which doubles as his "Cosmobile" 
  21.     with 2 detachable wheels; Cosmobile is near mint too.  Cosmobile 
  22.     is dark turquoise, wheels are yellow (both plastic)
  23. -clear plastic display case *cover* w/Zeroids logo- has cracks along 3 
  24.     side edges.  Plastic case is roughly 5 1/4" wide by 8 1/2" tall.
  25. -have original backing card, which includes the operating instructions
  26.     and Zobor/Zeroids labeling.  As part of the labeling, the card
  27.     has an artist's color drawing of Zobor & Cosmobile on some 
  28.     planet's craggy surface on the front (drawing is 5 1/4" x 
  29.     3 11/16"), and smaller color drawings of Zerak (The Destroyer), 
  30.     Zobor, and Zintar (The Explorer) on the back.  Entire card is 
  31.     ~ 12 1/4" tall by 5 1/4" wide.  Card is made of cardboard.
  32.     This backing card attaches to the back of the case for display
  33.     via little pegs and holes. 
  34.     Card is slightly worn, with one crease (fold) 1/2 way down (not
  35.     visible from front when attached to case); still has original 
  36.     cellophane tape on it that was used to hold card on case when new 
  37.     and original staple used to hold card together
  38. -all original options and features, including:
  39.     plastic display case which becomes his cosmobile trailer
  40.     motor still works, forward/reverse, uses AA batteries
  41.     2 extra hands- "magnet hand" & "throwing hand"
  42.     right arm is spring loaded; you cock the right arm, and move 
  43.         the left to release it.  Can throw things or can
  44.         be used as "Karate Smash" (Ideal's wording, not mine!), 
  45.         etc. 
  46.     2 "Lazer Bombs" to be used with the throwing hand
  47.     "automatic reversing ramp" (yellow plastic with Zeroids lettering
  48.          on it)

  50. This was the second of a series of Zeroid robots released
  51. by Ideal circa '68-69 or so.
