- They (you) do the same thing anyone does who wants something for which there
- isn't a large enough market to attract the large bike companies: build it
- yourself or pay someone else to do it. Thus until a few years back someone
- who wanted a really serious lighting system had to roll his own. Local
- framebuilders find that a lot of their customers are members of Bay Area
- professional football and basketball teams. But even if you're near the
- peak of the body-size bell curve and want something unusual -- say a race-
- worthy frame that will fit winter tires and fenders -- you're in the same
- boat as the pituitary case playing center for the Warriors.
