- Hi there,
-
- My mountain bike is having some BB problems, so
- I would like to replace it with a sealed Phil
- Wood BB. I happen to have a spare frame with
- a Phil BB already in it.
-
- Can I swap the BB out of the road frame and put
- it into the MTB frame, or do I need a BB with
- a longer axle? I think the one I have might be
- a 108mm axle. Does that sound right? I'm pretty
- sure that the Phil BB has axle lengths up to 113mm.
-
- Altermately, does anyone have a different brand
- of sealed MTB BB that they would recommend?
-
- Thanks!
