  25. Good point. I was recently flamed on a local campus newsgroup about
  26. the fact that I "shouldn't waste money on bikes." This was in
  27. reference to my sig.

  29. I don't own a car!. I commute everywhere by bike. The cyclists who go
  30. out and joy-ride (oops, training) just can't understand why I go through
  31. parts so fast. Try riding everyday in all kinds of weather and you'll
  32. see some heavy wear that the joy-riders will never see.
