- Much as I love my Thermarest, I should add that if you can stand the
- bulk, the Deluxe RidgeRest is lighter, just about as comfortable,
- indifferent to punctures, and eliminates the need for a groundsheet if
- you're in a dry environment. Admittedly, it rolls into something about
- the size of a 500lb bomb, but the full-length model (well, okay, the
- deluxe is only available full-length) is still slightly lighter than my
- 3/4-length Ultralight. I think it's feels warmer too, but I haven't
- tried one in windy conditions.

- They make a 3/4 length Ridge Rest or at least they used to.
- I have one and hated it. I switched to a thermarest which later
- got stolen. Am now thinking of going to a full length Ridge Rest.
