- I would recommend any of the various lookout towers that you
- can rent in the Kootenai Ntl Forest (Northwest corner of Montana).
- These are old lookout towers that aren't used by the Forest Service
- anymore but are maintained for public use. The hike in is usally
- 5-8 miles and the lookouts usually run around $15/night. Mail me
- if you would like some more info.
