  11. The 'Gossamer' from Eureka has been working very nicely for me as a
  12. one person tent. it's a little tube tent, which always makes other
  13. people feel sorry for you. you have to be able to run at least five
  14. stakes into the ground for it to work. i've been using it among other
  15. places during a hike through iceland. got a pretty ferocious storm ther
  16. but it stood up ok. rain never was a problem either. its low profile
  17. enough, so the wind can't attack it much. it's got an interior 'moscito
  18. net' with a rain fly on top of it. weight might be a bit over two pounds
  19. (i'm guessing,  no scale).
