- I apologize in advance if this has been covered before -- I just started
- reading this newsgroup.
-
- I'm interested in a "medium weight" hiking boot heavy enough for several-
- day backpacks, off-trail, and pleasant fourth class scrambles, but
- not "heavy duty" mountaineering boots like Asolos, Merrills, etc. I suspect
- this type of boot can be identified by its price range: $150 - $225 US$.
-
- I was told that there was a review of such boots in an outdoor magazine
- "not too long ago" -- which I take to be sometime in '92. Does anybody
- know anything about this?
-
- Thanks in advance.
