- I beg to differ. I had a gore-tex parka from an outfit called "Landav".
- They're from Portland, Oregon. The parka was never very water proof.
- I sealed the seams a couple of times but it still leaked.
- It was sent back to the manufacturer who said it was in good repair.
- I bought it in spring of 1985 and by fall of 1988 the membrane had
- separated from nylon shell. By then the local outdoors shop had
- discontinued carrying the line and could do nothing for me. I've
- used a Helley Hansen anorak(with Helley Tech) since and am quite
- pleased with it.
