- On the other hand, Coleman hasn't been advertising the Apex as a multi-fuel
- stove, though it is...

- Other stoves generally do need different generators. I suppose it depends on
- the relative volatility, viscosity, and all around gunki-ness of the fuel
- familiy. Note that a kerosene generator may also work for such delightful
- fuels as automotive diesel and home heating oil, though Coleman may not
- say so the way MSR does.

- Why kerosene? It's far more available in the third world than white
- gasoline (naptha), and its lower volatility means a lower risk of your face
- getting burned off or your gear burned up. It used to be a lot cheaper than
- white gasoline. The lower volatility also means spills won't evaporate and
- you have to do a better job priming. Most people loath the smell, but
- for me it brings back childhood memories of Grandma's farm....
