- It's cruder than that. It dones't actually reverse by blowing the thurst
- out what's normally the intake. It workes by diverting the flow from the
- engine mechanically back towards the front.

- This is pretty easy to see on older small jets like 737's and DC9's (sorry
- MD80's). There's a clamshell normally in a stowed streamlined position
- that flips into the path of the output of the engine when engaged.
