- A Vulcan in flight is like a flying football pitch... doggone impressive!
- Makes quite the racket, too. At one show, after a 'spirited' flight
- demonstration by the pilot, I asked one of the other crew members (who resided
- within the cramped confines of the tiny cabin below and behind the
- cockpit) how he and his fellow systems operators enjoyed these shows.
- He just grimaced...
