  13. A Vulcan in flight is like a flying football pitch... doggone impressive!
  14. Makes quite the racket, too.  At one show, after a 'spirited' flight
  15. demonstration by the pilot, I asked one of the other crew  members (who resided
  16. within the cramped confines of the tiny cabin below and behind the 
  17. cockpit) how he and his fellow systems operators enjoyed these shows.
  18. He just grimaced...
