  19. Yuck.  So, symptoms wouldn't include slow engine warmup, and overall low 
  20. heat from the heater?  Perhaps I just have to get used to non-hellacious heat
  21. blasting out of the heater.  My friend's 88Golf blasts volcanic heat, while my
  22. 87GTI only feels warm when you put your hand on the vent - by the time the air
  23. reaches your face, it's not warm at all.

  25. Supposedly, a previous owner had the first letter, and had the core replaced,
  26. but I didn't know what this '2nd letter' stuff was about......
