- I had this same (almost) problem with a 70 squareback. The problem turned
- out to be that the fender had separated from the body up onder the rear
- wheel-well. As I drove, water sprayed off the tire, and through this
- fairly small crack, and into my car. I ended up more than a few times
- with 2-4 inches of water in my car. I put a fiberglass patch on the
- entire inside of the wheel well, then a tar-like sealer. That fixed it.
