- ummmm, well... *all* engines are cooled in part by oil... the only coolant seen
- by the power components in *ANY* engine (that I've ever seen) is oil... this
- accounts for around 40% of the cooling load. that's why the sump holds
- considerably more oil than is actually required for lubrication (the volume
- allows more heat to be removed from the bearings associated with the rotating
- assemblies without causing undue temperature rise).
