- Here in northern South Carloina a well restored Bug will go for $2000-2500.
- If the car is in decent shape, $1300 isn't unreasonable. Bug's make good
- basic transportation, but you need to be prepared to properly maintain the
- car. I bought mine for the same reasons and fell in love with the car.
- It takes work keeping it running right, but it has become a labor of love.
- Treat it right and it will treat you right.
