  12. Here in northern South Carloina a well restored Bug will go for $2000-2500.
  13. If the car is in decent shape, $1300 isn't unreasonable.  Bug's make good
  14. basic transportation, but you need to be prepared to properly maintain the
  15. car.  I bought mine for the same reasons and fell in love with the car.
  16. It takes work keeping it running right, but it has become a labor of love.
  17. Treat it right and it will treat you right.
