- The VW is truly air cooled. The oil cooler was added because the air
- cooling was not always sufficient. Using oil as the sole coolant
- isn't real effective; I think it doesn't have good thermal properties,
- it doesn't flow well enough (if it will lubricate well, it won't flow
- well).
