- Recently I came upon a '67 912 for sale. It has a recently rebuilt
- engine (although I didn't get a chance to ask how recently),new paint
- and immaculate interior. First, is $4,500 too much to pay? Also,
- what are parts availibilty like? If parts are hard to find, can
- a more recent bug engine be installed (ie motor mounts, electrics etc...)
- Are there any inherent problems with this model year? I've always
- been a big fan of the air-cooled v-dub motors (i've owned a '73 911
- and '74 914 not that they are truly v.w. engines) so I am very excited
- about the car. Any help would be appreciated.
