- IMHO the only thing wet here is their explanation of the problem.
- In all my 10 years of driving Bugs, Ghia's, and Type 3's in the wet
- Indiana/Michigan climate I have never encountered this problem and
- I always set the handbrake (I never leave the car in gear, except
- on really steep inclines).

- The only way I could see this being related to wetness, is if the
- brakes were originally adjusted too tight to begin with and the
- added moisture caused enough drag to cause them to overheat and
- drag even more. With proper brake shoe clearance, this should
- not happen. By any chance, was this the same garage that adjusted
- your brakes? :-(
