- It sounds as if your fuel transfer pump is going. When mine was failing,
- indicated by a loud humming followed by the car bucking from lack of
- fuel, I also had strange reading on my water temp guage. Interestingly
- enough, my MFA oil temp never varied accordingly, indicating to me
- that the problem was with the gauge, and the car was not, in fact,
- running hot.

- The transfer pump is actually a recall item on your car. Get your dealer
- to run your VIN to see if it has already been done. Even if you end up
- having to do it yourself, it's only about $25 and it's a piece of cake to
- replace.
