- To all auto techies:
-
- I have just discovered this news.group and will be grateful for a solution
-
- I have a 1984 Buick Century-T Type (4 door) and have had problems all winter
- with freezing locks and freezing doors...
-
- This is my first winter in the North where it stays cold (below freezing)
- and I have not figured out what to do to keep this problem from happening.
-
- I usually end up using deicer to unfreeze the locks and it sometimes works
- on the door... Put usually I pull on the doors until I can break the hold.
-
- Only once have I been forced to use warm water to loosen the door...
-
- Anyone got a suggestion for me.... I realize that the ideal suggestion
- is to put the car in a garage but this winter that is not possible...
-
- Thanks
