- I had a VW Jetta with 110w fog lamps. I had them mounted on the bumper
- in between the headlights. All you do is angle them down a bit, and
- presto, not only does your lighting increase, but your front lighted
- area is much brighter. Also, fog lamps get the sides as well (They were
- Boshe). Drivers used to complain all the time when I pass them if I had
- them on when they were angles normally. As soon as I angled them down,
- no complaints.

- A thing to remember about fog, it closes in on the sides of your view.
- Not your extension. The Focal point of your headlamps will usually still
- be visible. (Unless it's pea soup). With fog lamps angled ahead, instead
- of down, the focal point is directly into the fog. And that makes
- use of fog lamps pointless because you see less with them on.
- Pointing them down removes all these problems. Even in pea soup...
