  15. Depends.  If you're using the Mercury front end and rear with 
  16. Mercury brakes, you can try to get a set of 15-inch wheels
  17. introduced in mid-1948 for Ford and Mercury.  This is when
  18. Fomoco changed from 16-inch to 15-inch wheels.  These wheels
  19. should take the stock Mercury hubcaps.  1949 and 1950
  20. Mercury wheels will also fit but use a different cap.  Ford
  21. F-100 pickup wheels through approx 1956 may also fit.
  22. These will all be hard to find.  Some of the aftermarket
  23. wheel companies make what you need and call them "steelies".
