- Well I see that this is the place to ask about antique insurance.
- But, please keep in mind that this is Massachusetts... where the law says
- two things... that nothing makes sense , and that insurance companies can
- nail you as they see fit.
-
- I was wondering how much I coluld save by getting into an 'antique' or
- 'collector' category... My baby is a 1974 Fiat X1/9, in restorable
- (interpret: not always running at my request , but I have a body ...)
- condition... I've had it for seven months and put on only 1124 miles.
- (belive me, I wish it could've been more...) to bring it up to a total
- of 42,300 miles. And as to being garaged: If I had one , I would
- be working on it now....
-
- What could I gain from such a special insurance package? I'm 18, clean
- (no convictions) driving record, completed driver's ed, and at the
- best that you can be status for new drivers, and Ive been driving for
- about two years... However, the insurance compnay (Traveler's) has
- sen it fit to give me a one thousand, two hundred and nineteen dollar
- shaft.
-
- {Also, does anyone happen to have a good way to beat/screw the insurance
- company out of such ungodly rates ? }
-
- Thanks,
