- Most of the car mags had trouble getting over this in discusing the
- Saturns when they came out. First of all, lots of cars from entirely
- diff. companies have resemblances (check the tails of Tercel FX16s,
- MX-3s, Sprints, etc. Not just the overall form, but the _specific
- styling cue_ of how the hatch meets the back is similar in all these
- cars). Second of all, I _like_ the Cutlasses. Third of all, the
- designers were outside GM bounds, and it's basically not that much more
- than a coincidence. Given certain objectives regarding space,
- aerodynamics, etc., similar shapes are predictable. Let's face it, 90%
- of all hatchbacks ever made look virtualy alike, no matter what.
