- If I remember the Autoweek article correctly, the Caprice (called
- the Impala SS) had a slightly different rear end, was jet black,
- and had most of the police package mechanical goodies.

- yup. Most of the auto mags had an article mid-summer last year
- where they test drove the Monte. It was a fiberglass bodied mockup
- and had the Twin Cam 3.4l engine. I think it was front wheel drive though.
